Amanda Ayer is no stranger to Hamilton and McMaster University. First completing her Bachelor’s Degree in History and Religious Studies in 2014, she is now pursuing her Master’s in Globalization. The Local History and Archives department has always been one of Amanda’s favourite places in the city. She hopes her research on Hamilton’s Gayline will encourage others to explore the invaluable 2SLGBTQ+ Community Archives.
